| Warning .....I have only ever failed one exam in my life which was my English language 'o' level when I was 16, slightly odd since I got an A in English literature....25 years on I've discovered my brain works at a slightly faster pace then my writing and reading skills so all spelling mistakes, poor grammar and missing words in the following blog is all part of my story ! The winter of 2006/07 was spent completely upgrading the rigging, installing the Navik wind vane, the ST2000 Tiller pilot and further works; and the start of the season was kicked off with a great single-handed sail down to the Menai Straits and Holyhead at Easter. A full record of the 2007 season can be found here.
Every want to see what a terrified man at the top of a mast looks like and for full details of the details of the trip, look here The sailing from June through to September was mainly spent pottering around the Menai Straits, days trips up to Puffin Island and weekends spent snuggled up on the boat moored up from the Gazelle or occasionally over at Moefre.
